You can create a 'favorite' folder on your hard drive and add it to romcenter.
Then you have to manually copy or move zip games inside.

Hi Eric

That might be nice for some people but would probably be a waste of space, if you have many large favorite games. I know, space is not an issue nowadays but still, a waste of space.

What if RomCenter had the ability to deal with .lnk files? If a folder contained lnk files in it, RC could parse the destination of each lnk file, (add it to the tree as any other file) but not give the user the ability to "fix" it (if it's too much trouble). The game would be shown in the usual red/yellow/green/grey color but could appear as "game.zip (LINK)" and be unfixable (again if it's too much trouble for the "fix" command to handle it).

Of course there could always exist a "favorites" folder under the database node, in which the user could add shortcuts from the database.

Why not adding virtual paths then ? I mean, paths which doesn't exist on disk, only in db.
I already have plans for this for the future version and favorites can be part of it.

That's what i meant by the following:

Indeed it would be useful.
