Romcenter

I usually make my own dat files because i cant wait for logiqx.
Since tha least few mame versions I've been having problems with dat creation. I get the xml whatever from mame and then use datutil on itwith no arguments. But since 0.95 the dat files created just dont work. Romcenter refuses to load them complaing they are incompatible or i should update romcenter.
I got the latest datutil. I even updated to 2.70 b7 and still no joy
Logiqx's dats work. What am I doing wrong?

DatUtil without arguments converts XML to CMPro format. You need to use '-f rc' to generate a RomCenter datafile.

I thought the output from mame was already cmpro compatible and datutil was to convert them to rc. But I guess that was before the format change. Anyway, it works now. Thanks!
