Problem with last NES No-Intro dat

Post by Leonkar »

I'm using RomCenter to manage my console roms, and I found an extrange behavior with NES ones... I use No-Intro NES dat RC format.

It seems that the program looks for the rom without extension, so if I automatically "fix" the names the roms lost the .nes extension and remain without any extension. The problem is that without .nes the emulators don't recognize the files. This behavior isn't happening with SNES, Genesis, Master System, etc... ¿Is a dat problem? ¿Is there any option I didn't see?

Sorry for my english and thanks in advance!

EDIT: Deleted the database and created it again... Now it adds the .nes extension!! ?????

Can you still reproduce the problem or is it solved with the rebuild ?

It changed some roms and keep others without extension. NES roms are the only that show "nes" in "actual extension" column (only in the roms without "real" extension). All the others roms (SNES, GB, GBC, SEGA...) don't show nothing in this column (but the files inside the zips have the correct extension). I tried clrMamePro and the RC dat have the same behavior. I suposse this is a dat problem that an No-Intro update will eventually fix...

72981 is the total number of different roms. Some roms are used in a lot of games. This includes samples and undumped roms.
